Prof. Basavi Mukerji is an articulate and lucid speaker. She is in great demand as resource person in lectures, seminars and workshops. Her exceptional command over several languages (including English) enables her to speak with ease and make her point with clarity precision. Unlike many speakers who are only scholars and speakers, Basavi (being the consummate performing artiste that she is) is able to, and frequently and opportunely does, illustrate musical points with musical examples which she sings there and then.
